James worked with Morna Watson of Theatre of the Heart, as producer
of Blood Earth & Medicine
with John Sherlock, John and Margaret Cluett and Nathaniel of
Wessex, in 30 highly successful performances ranging from Dorset,
Somerset and North Devon to Hyde Park and Ways With Words, the
Dartington Literary Festival

A dozen performances of In Time of Flood
with John Sherlock and then Jenny de Gex

Half a dozen performances of "Eat Your
Words - Thought for Food" with John & Margaret Cluett
from Shaftesbury based on historical data gleaned from Dorset
Archives and in particular focuses on the condition of women and
children in Dorset Agriculture in the1840's and 1860's verbatim
accounts bringing alive living and working conditions

James has been deeply involved with orchard educational projects
in Jersey, Somerset and Dorset, taking school children into orchards
at different times of year and getting them to write poems and
make their own sketches and paintings. In Somerset he was helped
by the painter Kate Lynch.
